Abstract: The patented SCOPES (Synergistic Chemical Oxidative and Photocatalytic Enhancer System) provides solutions to treat the PFAS and PFOA in leachate and other industrial wastewater effluents. This SCOPES technology combines the use of abundant solar spectrum and the innovative nanomaterials technologies for the advance photo-oxidation process for the remediation of persistent and toxic chemicals such as per- and poly- fluoroalkyl compounds in landfill leachate samples.
